Friday, December 22nd, 2006. Ecco il mio nuovo telefonino.
My mother and constant benefactor with whom I live in close, cozy, harmony, has furnished me for Christmas with a Nokia 5500 Sport Triband 2.0MP MP3, a new splash resistant cell phone, designed to fit my active lifestyle. Now, there is a symbol of umbilical attachment in it. If only the unit would release preemptive, fatal, electrical shocks to chasing ladies zeroing at my comfort zone, heavens, would she be happy…
This mobile phone bequested to me by my caring ancestor sports boundless features, being water, dust and shock resistance the one I found to be of best use. There are countless more: Integrated digital video camera and 2.0 megapixel, 4x digital zoom, digital music player for Mp3s and stereo Fm with visual radio, a 256 Mb MicroSD card expandable up to 1Gb, access to GSM 900/1800/1900 networks, text to speech capability, stainless steel body, and a sports tracking user interface that monitors exercise and displays training data, speed and distance, steps taken, and calories burned, and which I am sure I shall never begin to understand.
It has a talk time of 4 hours, and a standby time of 270 hours, roughly, up to 10 days.
The phone weights 103 grams, including battery, and the dimensions are 107 mm x 45 mm x 18 mm.
Here there is an extensive review.
