Thursday, November 8th, 2007. North Seas.

More of my selection of soothing, storm footages. Today, a cargo ship in a storm in the North Seas.
Would I be going on, I should scream for general anaesthesia.

My question in regards to captains who brave storms is: how do they learn from their mistakes? It seems to me that it would be useful to find out what will capsize a freighter and what won't, and that until you've been flipped several times, you don't really have the judgement. But I'd think the folks who own the boats would not be enthusiastic about the learning process.
