Thursday, November 13th, 2008. The Wild Image Project.

Twelve days from now, on November 25th, 2008, Daniel Belanger from New York, will set off on a solo expedition that will last two years to photograph remote wildlife.
In the first leg of the expedition Daniel who is 34 years old, will undertake an open crossing of 350 nautical miles from Argentina to the Falkland Islands. In a second leg he will launch from the Bonin Islands to Japan, the Kuril and finally the Aleutian Islands. A third stage will again more destinations in the southern hemisphere as South Georgia, Tristan Da Cunha, Prince Edward, Crozet, Kerguelen, Heard, Macquarie, and Auckland where Daniel will attempt to portrait endangered species in their natural habitat, capturing the glorious beauty and harshness of it all.

I think that sea kayak practice is a multifactorial activity and …. lamentably many of the people are lost in the technical dimension. Sea kayaking is a good activity for feeling the freedom, for seeing the wildlife and for making goods pictures. The technical dimension is the way for being more sure and for improving sea kayak´s skills but the scope is be free and …. happy ;-))).
