Saturday, March 9th, 2008. Inuit observances.
In sharp contrast with the bromidic sermons that envelope the ambient of general elections, the kayak club conducted today an informal ceremony to christen the first and very nice, Greenland kayaks of two mates and of darling Sylvie.
Both Xavier Knorr and Xavier Amargant presided over the religious services.
As much as they shun any merit, the two Xaviers are exceptionally well versed on native crafts and every bit of Inuit lore. While Knorr spends currently half of his time in Greenland and is fond to the bones of the simplicity of Inuit life, Amargant builds just for the sake of it, kayaks of such lines, attention to trim, volume and hull, that leave some looking Chinese Chippendale.
