Wednesday, July 8th, 2009. Tallit paarlatsillugit paateqarluni/masikkut.
I took the evening off work and ran to the water hurriedly like a lemming. As a result, the crossed-arms roll. As you may know, it simulates the restrictions of having to recover from a capsize when entangled in your harpoon line, unable to spread your hands along the shaft.
I raised well the paddle and swept keeping the inboard blade in contact with the hull near the chine. Then a brace as I pressed with the foot closest to the water. And Voilà!
I still have to succeed in recovering in a nice tucked in position over the front deck as if an imploring supplicant Eskimo, but duh duh duh.
