
The boat has been branded again as the Anas Acuta HV or the Q Boat. The Qajariaq was built for paddlers who demanded a higher volume Anas Acuta, a fast, better tracking kayak that could accommodate a larger paddler. The Quajariaq features a keyhole cockpit according to what the market is demands, although advanced paddlers lean towards the tighter fit of the ocean cockpit.

Valley Seakayaks states: Quajariaq - in Greenland Inuit, “Sea Kayak”- is, as the name suggests an Inuit style composite sea kayak with hard chines and narrow beam. The boat has a low afterdeck to allow for various types of Greenland style rolls, an upswept bow and very little rocker which suggests a fast ocean boat.
The Qajariaq is equipped as other Valley Canoe composite kayaks with three watertight curved fiberglass bulkheads, three watertight Valley Canoe hatches, a cable operated retractable skeg system, perimeter deck lines and bungees installed using recessed deck fittings, compass recess able tp accommodate a Brunton 70P and a wide comfortable backstrap as well as Yakima footbraces.
The standard Qajariaq is produced in a fiberglass/diolene hybrid lay-up. Two lighter kevlar lay-ups are also available by special order.
